About RadMD

Australian designed.
Clinically refined.

RadMD is an independent medical imaging company born out of the clinic floor. We design, prototype and trial in Australia — building precise, repeatable tools for the people who run the scans.

Director's Note

"We built the tools we use everyday."

Mersad is a highly experienced diagnostic radiographer with a strong academic background and extensive tertiary hospital experience. Across years on the floor of major imaging departments, he built a reputation for sharp clinical judgement and an uncommon ability to solve the problems others worked around.

He saw a gap in the industry that no existing supplier was willing to close — and set out to close it himself. What began as a clinical frustration became a structured R&D programme: studying the materials, testing the geometries, and iterating prototypes until the product performed consistently under real scanning conditions.

Today, Mersad has honed the manufacturing process end to end. Through automation and a tightly controlled production line, he's driven the cost down — and passed those savings directly on to the clinics and departments using RadMD every day.

Director of Operations, Australia

"Where strategy meets execution."

Ben is a healthcare business consultant who works at the intersection of compliance and sales — partnering with private hospitals, med-con suppliers and radiology groups across QLD, NSW and Victoria to build, refine and scale services in regulated clinical environments.

His remit spans the full commercial lifecycle: navigating TGA pathways and procurement frameworks, pressure-testing go-to-market strategy, and translating clinical value into the language of hospital executives and purchasing committees. The result is faster adoption, cleaner contracts, and fewer surprises after the deal is signed.

For RadMD, Ben leads channel development and institutional engagement — opening doors, structuring partnerships, and making sure every product we ship lands inside the compliance, procurement and clinical realities of the departments we serve.

Sales Consultant

"Three decades. Every channel that matters."

Stewart is a senior healthcare business professional with more than 30 years of management experience across the Australian and New Zealand medical industry — formerly National Business Manager and General Manager of Sales at Aaxis Pacific, National Group Sales Manager at Bausch & Lomb, and National Sales Manager at Tyco / Kendall Healthcare.

His specialty is unlocking growth: pricing and margin review, channel architecture, sales team restructure, and opening new routes to market across hospitals, day surgeries, radiology, optometry, primary care distribution, aged care, NDIS and pharmacy retail (Chemist Warehouse, Priceline). When the largest line item on a healthcare P&L is the sales team, Stewart makes sure every call earns its keep.

For RadMD, Stewart leads commercial strategy and channel expansion — drawing on 25+ years of relationships with Clinical Product Managers, Infection Control Specialists and senior contracts teams to put our products in front of the people who actually decide.

Origin

Designed in
Australia.

RadMD is headquartered in the sunny Gold Coast, where our design and research operations sit under one roof. This proximity is intentional — the gap between a clinical observation and a tested prototype is measured in days, not procurement cycles.

Australian-designed isn't a label for us. It's the operating model. Local design team, in-country validation partners, and a regulatory standard set by the TGA — one of the most rigorous frameworks in the world.

The R&D Process

Four stages.
No shortcuts.

01

Clinical Insight

Every product begins on the floor of an imaging clinic. We embed with radiographers and radiologists to obtain real world feedback.

02

Material Science

Radiopaque polymers, adhesives and substrates are sourced and tested against repeatable clinical benchmarks under live CT conditions.

03

Iterative Prototyping

Rapid in-house prototyping cycles — measured in days, not quarters — let us refine geometry, line spacing and tactility against real clinical workflows.

04

Validation & Release

Each design passes structured clinical validation across multiple sites before it earns the RadMD mark. Nothing ships until it improves the workflow.
